Blue Star Museum<\/h3>\n

Cheekwood is proud to be a Blue Star Museum. Blue Star Museums is a free admission program for active military and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2025)<\/strong> to Labor Day (September 1, 2025)<\/strong>. The military ID holder and up to five<\/strong> family members (6 people total) receive free admission for Gardens Only or Gardens and Mansion. The military ID holder can be either active duty service member or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The active duty member does not have to be present for family members to use the program. Just bring your DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card, for active duty military family members.<\/p>\n

Blue Star Museums<\/a> is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America to offer free admission to the nation\u2019s active duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families each summer.<\/p>\n

For families who participate in SNAP, WIC or TANF Cheekwood provides admission to the Gardens Only for $3 per person (up to four people) or Garden & Mansion for $5 per person (up to four people). You also receive free parking.<\/p>\n

Through Museums for All<\/em>, Cheekwood is partnering with museums across the country to make sure everyone can experience the best museums have to offer, for an affordable price. If you have an EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card, simply show it when you arrive to receive the reduced admission.<\/p>\n

Reciprocal Membership Ticket<\/h3>\n

If you are a Member of a museum or garden that participates in SERM<\/a> or AHS<\/a> reciprocal admissions program, your membership benefits would allow free daytime general admission to the gardens for each named member and up to five children aged 17 and under if you have a family level membership. You can add on admission to the historic Cheek Mansion for an additional $6 per ticket.<\/p>\n

Reciprocal benefits are not extended to memberships that include guests.<\/p>\n

Reciprocal membership benefits do not apply to special events including Great Spring Art Hop<\/em>, Thursday Night Out<\/em>, Exposition of Elegance: Classic Cars at Cheekwood<\/em>, and Holiday LIGHTS<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Bank of America | Museums On Us<\/h3>\n

Bank of America offers cardholders free general admission \u2013 during the first full weekend of every month \u2013 to cultural institutions across the United States. Museums on Us is available to Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit cardholders. This program covers one free general admission for the individual cardholder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Present your active Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card and valid government issued photo ID (Passport booklet, State ID, Driver License) to receive one free general admission. The one free general admission and your friends\/family members admission can be purchased upon arrival to Cheekwood, but we ask that you reserve your parking in advance<\/a>.<\/strong> Please reserve your parking by choosing the date and time you are likely to visit, and purchase the number of Parking passes your party will need.<\/p>\n
