Cheekwood hosts several professional development workshops throughout the school year for teachers of all subjects and grades K-12. Topics may include garden-based learning, current exhibitions, and cultural festivals.<\/p>\n

Nature Based Learning<\/h2>\n

September 6, 2023 | 9 AM \u2013 2 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us for a day filled of learning and exploring! Cheekwood\u2019s Education team will share engaging nature and plant-based activities to help reinforce classroom concepts touching on science, math, art, and literacy. Teachers will walk away with the confidence to engage their students in the outdoors while still meeting state standards. This workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n
